Midgley:

The world of those who infest a certain board is dramatically unlike that of those who strive to be faithful Latter-day Saints, who strive to worship God by doing good for all people, and to the very best of their ability, telling the truth about how things really are. Those who come to sic et non to sneer and smear have other motives.”
Wow, Midgley’s projections are getting extremely specific! Whatever Midgley’s motives are when he comes to “sneer and smear,” they seem to drive him relentlessly. Sad.

He can’t even keep his lies straight.

“I was more than a little surprised when we arrived at one of the four meeting houses in the Christchurch Stake that the Stake President immediately directed me to Dr. Nathan McCluskley, who is Gina Colvin's husband. We immediately became good friends. And on March 12, the Area President phoned me and wanted to know if the Stake President had been successful in this endeavor.”

So, the Stake President just so happened to introduce Forrest to Gina Colvin’s husband? What a miraculous coincidence!

And Forrest became best buddies with Gina’s husband? Miracle of miracles that the husband of Gina’s most relentless critic would like him so much!

And why would the Area Presidency be aware of the Stake President’s “endeavor” to sync the Keeviler Elf up with Ms. Colvin or her husband?

Somehow I think this nasty piece of work would’ve been home in Bishop Snow’s (1857 castration guy) world, fighting enemies and apostates who’d dare to exist on this earth.

After the latest posts regarding Gina, Professor Midgley had this to say on another blog article comment section:

.
Sounds like a worthy motto for all Deacons.

To have a look at Moksha at his very best just 16 hours ago "passing" something, please have a look at Professor Peterson's blog entry entitled "What can afford us a basis for hope" that was posted on 21 May. Scroll down to near the end. There you will find Moksha at his very best.

Trump has declared churches to be ‘essential,’ and called on them to reopen. Not sure if Trump is trying to cull older church members or just trying to curry favor with the Ammon Bundy faction of his supporters. The LDS Church always includes a Sacrament Meeting and passing the sacrament in a way that does not spread the virus will be problematic. You can't physically take the sacrament wearing a mask, and the act of passing it between ward members would become a means of transmission.

And OF COURSE Mr. Peterson endorses this bizarre obsessive behavior. BYU professors. Mormon priesthood holders. Stalkers.

Those interested may read Dr. Peterson's response here:

I hope Dr. Midgley does not keep taunting me because I have been told to back off responding to him about the Gina Colvin Incident.

So now Moksha is "content to let this matter drop and never bring it up again," if and presumably only if I do not "keep using [him] as an artillery target on this issue."

I was not responsible for the truly nasty insults and utter falsehoods Moksha and his associates from Dr. Shades hate board directed at me on the "Kiwi Mormon" blog. And Moksha could not resist bringing that same rubbish to Professor Peterson's blog.

http://disq.us/p/29g26dl
And now he’s got the LDS Area and Stake President in on it. Right. I really doubt they are involved, due to Midgley’s propensity to exaggerate to the point of lying every time he retells a story.

And he seems to think that because HE doesn’t define his stalking as “ a serious crime,” he isn’t really stalking. Too bad for him it doesn’t work that way.

Moksha Louis Midgley • a day ago

Louis, I think those people started opposing your initial stalking of Gina when you first announced it on her blog. They tried warning her that you would be up to no good before you ever set foot in that ward with her husband. Her husband apparently did not remember the warning she gave him. Anyone interested is welcome to check out the Kiwi Mormon blog on Patheos (this site) and read it for themselves. Start with the entry back in December.

He found her HUSBAND and glad-handed him in perhaps one of the most bizarre moments of this “soldier for Jesus”’s history. Think about it. He travelled halfway across the world with the thought in his peabrain that it’d not only be a good idea to do this, but then to ____ publish that he’d done it.
That sums it up pretty well.

This is evidence of another thing Mormonism does for its followers. Midgley and his entire attitude and the way he talks down to others who don't come to conclusions he believes all people ought to come to concerning God, religion, sex, and education, etc., is ENTIRELY responsible for the insults he receives. He is so daft as to not realize how incredibly crude, rude, and stupid his approach and arguments are. Mormonism has taken away his ability to objectively see his own views, or at least far less subjective than he does see them. It's not rubbish to be critiqued. If he can't handle it, then he ought to actually demonstrate he has a little wisdom and shut up already.

Just think of all the effort Midgley had to go through to get to Gina's ward meeting. Arrangments through the Church, arrangements through the tour groups, etc... Dr. Peterson was content to allege that Midgley was on an ocean cruise with no destination that just happened to pull into port and just happened to show up at the particular ward he said he wanted to visit a couple of months prior. Just a coincidence, like one day he was in Orem and he just happened to go to the Salt Lake International Airport and somehow mistakenly ended up on a flight to Los Angeles. Does anyone remember the cartoon series, Mr. Magoo? I supposed Magoo could suffice as an apologetic style argument against a purposefully arranged trip. "Confound it I should be in Provo right now, not... where did you say I am?"

I never announced that I intended to "stalk" Gina Colvin. If the world "stalking" has any real meaning, it describes something that is a crime. I don't stalk people. However, Moksha is a serious pest on sic et non.
Timothy McVeigh didn't announce that he was going to murder 168 people, but that he might perhaps reform the system with bloodshed. The two are very different things. The Holy Spirit didn't announce to Nephi that he should murder Laban, but that he should slay him. Most people, when they commit what society considers to be crimes, do no believe that their actions are, in fact, wrong. This is especially true when religious zealots act in the name of God.

Does the word "stalking" have any meaning? The apologists play this game all that time and say certain words are meaningless, therefore no discussion is possible. Unfortunately for them, very few words have been used as repeatedly as "stalking" by top tier apologists. If Dr. Scratch is "stalking" DCP because he comments on information DCP publishes very publicly and has positioned himself as a very public figure, then Mr. Midgley's announced plans and actions carried out in regards to Dr. Colvin arguably constitute "stalking". Imagine if Dr. Scratch were to announce and carry out an IRL matter analogous to what Mr. Migdley has done in relation to Dr. Clovin. Would the apologists call it "stalking?" At the very least. Most likely, they'd be calling the FBI.

Remember when Everybody Wang Chung said, as a joke, that his wife had bought them tickets to join Dr. Peterson on a cruise? And how DCP reacted to that? And what he did? And how he's still rattled by it?

The baby complains that he was called out for stalking.
notice that eleven hours after my having pointed out that Moksha was the one who brought that nasty stuff he and others posted about me to Professor Peterson's blog. He did this by calling attention to the fact that those on Dr. Shades hate board, presumably fearing for Gina Colvin's safety, had in December already warned her on her that I was headed to Christchurch, New Zealand, to "stalk" her, whatever that means.
On 21-26 April, on Gina Colvin's "Kiwi Mormon" blog, I was described by Moksha and others from Dr. Shades board as "creepy," as a "creepy stalker," of being a "disingenuous stalker," of "perverted behavior," of being a "conscience-less creep," "a disgusting, mean, and angry old man," with "a long and well-documented history of nastiness, personal attacks and stalking." With 400 documented instances, yet.
I was also accused of having "made up lie after lie that her [Gina Colvin's] husband wanted to met me." Then accused of being "mean-spirited," and of "vile behavior," and "boorish behavior," and again of being a "creepy stalker. "Midgley is a disgusting excuse for a human being. He is a creep and perverted beyond belief." And he is guilty of "un-Christian like behavior," and he is involved in the "blood-thirsty culture of Mopologists" (whatever that is). I am "quite simply a mean spirited and tremendously unkind bigot," full of "rudeness."
I am advised to "stop trolling and slither back to [my] cesspool known as sic et non." I am also "dishonest." And "I did not complete the course work for my Ph.D. in political science." I am "frequently dishonest, mean-spirited, racist, and highly offensive."
I will immediately cease pointing to these stupid, nasty, demonic attacks on me by Moksha and his buddies, if and only if he will apologize for having been part of this, and also promise never again to engage on sic et non or on the Dr. Shades board.

So he wants an apology because others pointed out the truth of his abnormal behavior, and his warped idea of how a “so called saint” conducts themselves. Sorry old man you had plenty of years to grow up.

Well, so be it. It has been decided. Midgley will continue to point out that others have noticed his inappropriate behavior. Have at it, Midge.

Keeviler Elf gon’ keevil. What a huge baby. A bully goes all the way to New Zealand, HAVING ANNOUNCED HIS INTENTIONS PRIOR TO DO SO, to confront Ms. Colvin, enlists the Area Presidency (!) in his keevil scheme, and when people don’t take kindly to a bully being a bully and punch back he, like the nasty little bully he is, bursts into tears and runs to mommy’s blog to point fingers.

What a disaster of a human being. BYU professor. Mormon priesthood holder. Stolen valor sack of crap.

In Mormon culture, apparently this is what maturity is like. In Utah culture at least. I wonder... truly and really, if all the Maori's who know him would be able to read all his comments and agree he is a true and real spiritual leader? That would make a FASCINATING study. Shall we begin contacting the LDS Maori and sending his materials to them WITHOUT naming him, and asking them what they think of a Mormon who talks and acts like this? That could be truly enlightening!!!

I really wish someone would attempt to contact some of the Maori that Midgley claims to be so sympathetic towards. If it's no problem for him to contact Gina Colvin's husband, they why would it be any trouble at all if someone dropped a line to one of these Maori folks? I mean, an email or social media DM is far less intrusive that taking a cruise and showing up at somebody's actual ward, right?

Yikes, I hate ominous threats, especially when they come from someone with the backing of a private organization. Give up posting at Sic et Non and this board in exchange for my safety and wellbeing? He does have a history of following up on his threats. I wish those apologists could be as gentle as the Methodists or Hari Krishnas. Hey, penguin soldier!
It looks like you may be needing that protective armour!

At another time I likened Professor Midgley to Smeagol/Gollum. While I feel kind of badly for making an unsavoury comparison (and I hold to the view that Prof. M is no doubt a kind and likeable man in many ways) ... let me try to explain why this image comes to me.

The first time I became aware of Louis Midgley he popped up out of nowhere on the Shields website, in correspondence that William Hamblin had been conducting with James White. It surprised JW to the point where he said something like, "where is my private correspondence with William Hamblin being posted and shared?" LM proceeded to come across as someone who had every right to insert himself into the story (ie. letter missives) and to expect JW to recognize him and provide answers to his questions. In asking these questions,LM appeared as betimes obsequious and pleading as in. "It's little old me asking a teeny tiny favour of you ... surely you don't mind?" and then increasingly aggressive, hostile and demanding when JW didn't furnish him with what he wanted. LM ended each letter with "Grace and Peace, Louis Midgley" ... which seems disingenuous - you know, something like how in recent comments on his blog, DCP has said to Charles that Charles calling him "Brother Peterson" is "disingenuous, and he won't have it!" After the first couple of exchanges, JW didn't engage at all, other than to repeatedly respond with something like "Thanks for writing. I don't care to interact with you further." I didn't count, but there must be close to 10 fairly lengthy email letters that LM wrote before the correspondence ceased.

And so from the very first, i had a picture of LM as a seemingly gentle, curious, big-eyed imploring soul who harboured within a steely-eyed dangerous persona ready to strike.

The Midge crying about people ganging up on him:

“ This remark by Moksha is the first and only serious comment he has made. Otherwise, Moksha has been just a cynic with a desire to be cute as he takes swipes at things Latter-day Saints see as sacred, except when he is back with his supposed "friends" on that Shades board, or, more recently when he and his "friends" pounced on me on the "Kiwi Mormon" blog, which he even brought back to Professor Peterson's blog. He refused to apologize, I suppose because those on the Shades board would not like it.”

“This is certainly not the kind of comment that Moksha made when he and his associates blasted away at me when I made a perfectly harmless comment to Gina Colvin on her own "Kiwi Mormon" Patheos blog. Then he also brought that same disgusting, nasty stuff to sic et non.”

“This is the cute Moksha. When he is away from sic et non, and with own kind on the Shades board, he is a far different creature. He recently joined in what his associates and Shady mentors had been been practicing, when some of those rabble pounced on me on the "Kiwi Mormon" Patheos blog. And he recently brought more of that truly reprehensible rubbish to sic et non.”

The Midge gloating about ganging up on a poster:

“Fred Kratz does seem to be more and more angry. I don't think that I am the only one who has noticed that he has recently become more and more contentious. And this has also resulted him his getting a good spanking, has it not?”

Aside from obsessively checking this forum for content to moan about, we can see him relentlessly attack Moksha, Gemli, Fred Katz, Noel, LOD, Exiled, and anyone else who he deems an enemy combatant. Crazier yet, when people he dislikes take a sabbatical from posting on Sic et Non, he constantly attacks them and more often than not asks for them to come back!

What an absolute loon!

It's a little odd that you should imagine yourself entitled to censor the entire internet. Nevertheless, since you asked, I'll honour your request. I won't mention it in connection with you or your internet activities, of which you are right to be ashamed. Should, in the future, I happen to meet another person with that name, I can't promise not to call them by it, as normal protocol demands.

In exchange, would you mind not using the words "Peterson" or "Midgley" ever again?

Or allowing them to appear on your egregiously spiteful message board?

Thank you.

LOL.

Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that some folks' heads there would explode from high-pressure bile if they were prevented from voicing their contemptuous hatred for me and for Professor Midgley multiple times each day.

It's a principal feature and a defining characteristic of the Shades board.

Do you have any suggested code names to use in place of Peterson or Midgley?

I would suggest, respectively, "St. Daniel the Good" and "The Venerable One."
