Not sure what the point of this thread is, but I sincerely hope it is not implying something which it seems to be implying. Personally, I can't think of a reason not to rethink having posted it. Might be a good idea to delete it. Just saying.

I think it is important and significant if a Romanian old enough to remember to past of his country feels that he can see something familiar in the policies and comportment of a President-elect of the United States.

That is not a good sign for the world.
