So glad to hear that Dr. Bokovoy is back in the saddle. I was sad when he took a break, but I certainly did not blame him for doing so.

Do you think this might also point to a collaborative effort among the Smith clan? There was a lot of time in between the rock and the hat show and finalizing the original manuscript. This would allow time for a collaborative effort in getting the final manuscript ready for printing. Hyrum, Oliver Cowdery and others perhaps could have joined in on the effort to tell the story, writing and rewriting it, consulting Adam Clarke and other materials as they went along.

My personal view is no, but I've been wondering lately if Joseph Sr might not have seen through much of it and, wanting some redemption for his personal failures, been a willing accomplice to Joseph Jr.

What if the Brass Plates were the only copy of what is deemed Deutero-Isaiah? Scribes took their time piecing it all back from fragments here and there!! EH? You got to admit that THE brass plates were a treasure and could easily have been THE most comprehensive collection of its time.

I suspect Oliver being very involved, but see no reason to think anyone else was.
