Welp.

We noticed. It took us until about May 25th to catch the drift.

But for the record:

July 31st and Aug 2nd, 2019 — The irresponsible “SatanIc Panic” podcasts are recorded. (Give me a break, this is 2020 and 30 years of research are behind us now.... and Dr. Frankfurter??? The Salem witch trials? Are you kidding me? Obviously not.... but I thought I’d ask. I talked to Frankfurter, by the way. That was interesting.)

August 2nd, 2019 — The judge places a stay on the Doe v. Miles case pending Mitchell v Roberts.

May 14th and May 20th, 2020 — The irresponsible “Satanic Panic” podcasts recorded in late July and early August (before the stay was placed) are released to the public.

June 12, 2020 — Utah Supreme Court rules on Mitchell v. Roberts and strikes down new law that would have extended the statute of limitations to 35 years on sex abuse cases ......consequently protecting Brenda and Richard Miles based on the verbiage of the August 2nd stay.

for what it's worth...... there is no worse offense than being in any way complicit to this level of harm to children.

And no matter how much _____ gets thrown around wildly and/or how often you or anyone else throws red herrings like “Satan,” the research has been done. A coalition of responsible professionals from across the globe have been working together on this project for decades. It will be impossible to control the narrative going forward because Utah and Mormons don’t live in a bubble.

There is no worse offense.

How 10 Utah places got their bizarre names

Tooele

Too-whata? If you’ve never heard the name of this Utah town spoken aloud, chances are you’ll mispronounce it from the get-go. But when first settled, Tooele was much more phonetically friendly. Originally named Tuilla — pronounced just like it sounds — the town marks one of the state’s first settlements, tracing its roots to 1853.

...

Kanab

The name Little Hollywood arguably has a more appealing ring to it than Kanab, but you can’t fight history. The town, nicknamed Little Hollywood because of the number of movies filmed there was named Kanab, a Paiute word meaning “place of the willows.”

Crazy article!
