While reading the board, I came across this comment by DA007:

Quote:
A Will Schryver post wouldn't be complete without a circle jerk reference! I still think the shame you felt when "those that matter" saw your vulgarities produced some meaningful changes. You could prove me wrong with an innuendo laced discussion of KA's black dress, but I don't think you will.

I'm not the least bit dismayed at 007, but I have to say this ongoing mentioning of a black dress I wore years ago to an Ex-Mormon conference is growing tiresome. It's being made out to be something it's not. The completely unwarranted brouhaha should have died down long ago. I thought by simply letting it go that the comments would stop, but that hasn't proven a successful strategy thus far.

So, I just now--and I do mean just now--put on the dress and snapped some pics of myself so that everyone can see for themselves just how not-a-big-deal the dress was and is. My daughter's camera is crappy. I'm literally wearing the dress over my exercise pants. My white socks and tennis shoes are still on, and they look very silly with a black dress, so there are no full-length shots. The mirror is dirty in my daughter's room. (I must remember to make her clean it soon!)

So, without further ado, the black dress that is supposedly fit for a porn conference:

*images snipped*

There. I'm not embarrassed of it. I don't think it's immodest. If someone has a problem with my dress, I'd say that someone is big-time repressed! Seriously, it's nothing one wouldn't see at any given restaurant on any given Friday night. Good grief!

These pics won't stay up long.

The end.

KA

Shut up, Will. Just because in your imagination women aren't complete without watermelons to match your middle school Playboy mentality doesn't change how women really are. Go back to your childish dreams where you can find all the plastic boobs a man of your maturity could want.

It was successful. My back doesn't hurt now.

And just in case anyone is unfamiliar with their Book of Mormon:

1 Nephi 14:11--And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the earth, and she sat upon many waters; and she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.

Weird. I wear this black dress AT LEAST once or twice a year and I've yet to obtain dominion over anything or anyone at all! Perhaps I haven't sat on enough waters or something.

Sorry, I play an important, albeit infrequent, role here in the GSTP™. When the director calls for me, I am obligated, by contract, to perform the lines as they are written. I may not vary from the script in any fashion whatsoever.

This generation of vipers ... well, you get the general idea.

No, I haven't, Scottie. My Mexi is Sexi, for certain, but he's just for lookin' at from a distance. I'm not interested in the whole enchilada.

Also, just so folks know, I knew before I hit "submit" on this thread that Will would comment. I don't mind. It's okay. I wanted to show that the dress I wore to Ex-Mo conference isn't a little spaghetti strap number (not that I think there's anything wrong with those), it isn't fit for an AVN Conference--it's not any big deal at all. It's just a black cocktail dress.

I think anyone having a problem with the dress has problems of his or her own.

KA

You underestimate yourself, Kimberly.

Your dominion over Will seems to be complete.

You are a lovely lady and the black dress is quite becoming.

All the Best!

Experience has proven that giving you emoticons is like putting Dracula in charge of the blood bank.

Who is "the director?" Your own pathological need for attention?

I think it's more like putting the Cullens in charge of the blood bank.

Then you'd have nothing to worry about. Edward is too busy being dreamy to drink blood.

A bit overly modest, but probably appropriate for church, work or some other conservative get together. You would probably get stopped by a club bouncer and refused entrance with that victorian era skin-stinginess dress.

Then again, you are attractive so the bouncer would let you in despite your near full body covering.

Wait, you are saying that some sexually repressed religious busybodies felt that the dress was too immodest? Well, I guess...if FLDS fundamentalist dresses are the standard they are basing it off.

Wheewww...those immodesty critics have some real, and troubling personal issues. A few years of counseling might help...or maybe not.

LOL

Hey, Slick Willy, I did too when I was in the cafeteria in the 2nd grade. Hasn't happened since, though. I hope you carry a handkerchief.
