I looked them up on YouTube. They work passably as background music, nothing more

Lemon Song and others off of the Led Zeppelin II album contain some of the most powerful blues riffs ever put to music. Of course, the Whole lotta love is one of the most famous songs in this genre.

That's because the singers are female, not male.

A Swedish band posted by German you-tubers who sing in English with a sort of Killers vibe. I like them, and the Gloria video is very cool.

Mando Diao - Dance With Somebody

Some selections that I liked from the BBC charts..... I think theres something for everyone here...

Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow

Lily Allen - 22

David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over

The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition

If you like classic style R&B these guys are awesome. Sounds like the Supremes at parts, or maybe Dusty Springfield
Noisettes - Never Forget You

Enter Shikari - No Sleep Tonight

Frank Turner - The Road

Arctic Monkeys - Crying Lightning

The Count Of Monte Christo

Sister Rosetta (Capture The Spirit)

Scratch Your Name

Wild Young Hearts This is a song that so deserves some radio play. Fantastic !

Just curious if any of you can identify the song from this sports highlight. I think I would like to add it to my collection but I want to hear all of it first.

http://www.byucougars.com/uploads/movies/soccer_w/WSOC_Cougars_win_two_at_Penn_St._Invite_9_1_2009.wmv

I believe the lyrics are..."Listen all ya'll it's time to rumble" but I have not been able to find this particular song by googling it.

I remember being in jr. high school in 1983 and trading my Van Halen pin for a Def Leppard one. there was much discussion over who got the better deal in that trade, but I thought it looked cool on my jean jacket

I much prefer...

Led Zeppelin - Misty Mountain Hop
AC/DC - Thunderstruck

..two those last two. In fact, if you ever want to see a middle-aged man jump up on top of his work cubicle while doing some serious air guitaring, catch me starting at about 2:48 and 3:16 of Thunderstruck.

Sammy Hagar joined Van Halen when I was 14 years old, and that band pretty much dominated the music scene all through my high school years. that's saying something considering the competition at that time.

I've loved Led Zeppelin since I was 12 years old.
