BTW, yes, it was a photo of yourself that you used as an avatar. I found it here:

Call me crazy but I think I'm more free then you are.

Well, of course you do. The Mormon church has effectively controlled you. You willingly serve it, and pay for the right to do so! You're the perfect slave.

If you're free... Quit. Walk away.

I tried it once already as I mentioned. Didn't like it. Didn't take. Came back.

But I don't even have a mullet in that photo! Just beautiful, long, flowing curls. Took me two years to grow that mane. In fact, I was told several times during that time period that I looked ... just like Jesus! And when I finally cut my hair, both the bishop's wife and the relief society president came up to me the following Sunday and expressed their deep regret. That was funny. (I think they were envious that I didn't need a perm to get my bouncy curls! ;-) )

However, my dear beastlie, I'm afraid that this photo has never -- indeed, could not have been -- used as an avatar. I wasn't even aware of it and didn't know that that particular film festival had a website where I was referenced. However, I do think you are correct that I briefly used, as an avatar, another photo from that same period of time. I'll have to look around.

In any case, I think we can now confidently conclude that antishock8 is nothing but a big, fat liar when it comes to his claims about William Schryver being a fat baseball coach at Cedar High School. There is no such person.

Alas, being fat is not the worst thing I could be. It would be much worse to be wrong about Mormonism. And besides, at least I'm not as grossly obese as is Professor Peterson -- he of the insatiable Krispy Kreme hankering.

Me, I only have eyes for Haagen Dazs.

Yes. I would like you to demonstrate that you can actually, freely, leave the Mormon church, to make the point that you're not enslaved to it. Otherwise, you're just demonstrating that you are, in fact, enslaved to this organization because you've been brainwashed to believe that if you leave it you'll suffer some undesirable fate. THAT is precisely what I'm talking about. You think you're free... But the fact is you're not. You're there. You're doing what they tell you to do.

This is the childlike thinking that I'm talking about. You equate both of our situations as being similar enough to say what you just said.

Sure I could voluntarily rejoin your church, but you're asking me to cede my freedom to a totalitarian authority whereas I'm asking you to free yourself from that. You ask me to become a slave in order to prove that I'm free which makes no sense whatsoever, but I'm asking you to prove you're free by walking away from a controlling entity. The nuance that you're clearly missing isn't the physical ability to locate yourself inside a chapel, but the mental ability to allow yourself to walk away. I don't think you have the ability to do that BECAUSE they own you via your fear of the repurcussions they have set for you, whether it's temporal or "eternal" in nature. They control you through the paradigm they created, and in which you find yourself.

Prove you're free. Walk away.

Yeah, I think you're right, I think the avatar was slightly different, but the same time period.

We all know that the mormon god cares a lot about the state of your lungs, but apparently not so much about the state of your arteries. And yes, we do see that reflected in mormon culture.

What would really be awful would be to be a fat believer who's wrong about mormonism. You'd possibly cut several years off your life span, without the recompense of the seventy virgins....or something like that. Horrible. Just think - no adoring future humanoids telling you how great you are, 24/7...nothing but a shorter life span and increasing health problems. Bummer.

Ooo, I just thought of one even worse. How about being a fat mormon believer who's wrong about the angry EV God?? So not only do you cut several years off your life span, never get to be a god with luscious wives, never get the adoring fan base, but you ALSO have to burn in hell for eternity!!!

I don't connect enslavement with my ward. Could you elaborate on that a little more?

Slaves don't have the option to skip meetings, turn down callings, go to bed naked, or refusing to write the tithing check. LDS do.

Here you go: http://chs.ironk12.org/Sports/baseball/pictures.htm

You're the fatass coach there. See? You're like the skanky fat lice-infested slob who lives in a desert city licking ice cream from his own hairy man chest, while watching your ponies prance around in their dirt patch through your broken trailer window. Then your unattractive, overweight, harpie let's you know it's time for you put on your Walmart vest and get to work as a greeter.

You're fat.

How do you know Will is the coach? I can't see it listed on the site.

I'm not particularly interested in how fat he may or may not be, but he's definitely led readers to believe he is not a baseball coach for Cedar High, so I'm interested in knowing whether or not he lied.

I just finished reading this thread (felt I had to read it before commenting) however, have found that it has degenerated into a discussion of whether Will is "fat and forty and a baseball coach" and accusations that LDS are slaves. Since I have no comment on those topics, I guess I needn't bother.

He's not. I had seen a .pdf file that listed William Schryver as a baseball coach for 2007-2008. I have no idea what that was for. Anyway, I went to the Cedar City high school page, and saw a fat white guy coaching. Before I saw a pic of fat Bill's fat face, I assumed the baseball coach was fat Bill because Bill is fat, angry, and white. And fat.

Anyway, the only reason why I'm being outrageously rude/crass is to help show fat Bill what it's like to be the object of poor behavior. It's no fun, and it detracts from a thread when the topic is brushed aside in order to make endless personal insults.

Bill is fat. And had a mullet. And he's poor.

I always understood that.

And for AI - Will really is one of the very few posters who deserves this sort of treatment. I make this conclusion based on many of his posts, but in particular his post to liz wherein he responded to a serious point she was making by telling her she was old, past her prime, and had varicose veins. He is the most obnoxious poster ever to grace this board, and that says a heck of a lot.

Will's retort to liz:
Quote:
In retrospect, I have no idea I would want to see liz in a tank-top. I’ll bet she's a wrinkled middle-aged woman with varicose veins and more good years behind her than ahead of her. Right? ;-)

Basically, the man's a pig.

So there you have it folks. In a nutshell. This, according to beastlie, is why I qualify as:

Quote:
... the most obnoxious poster ever to grace this board, and that says a heck of a lot.

L O L

Ok, wait a minute while I regain my composure ...

All right, I'm back with you now.

Yes, folks, Will Schryver is old, fat, stupid, white, angry and (my proudest achievement, incidentally) the most obnoxious poster ever to grace this board ...

I can now die in peace.
.
.
.
By the way, liz, just for the record, I actually think you'd look quite hot in a tank top. On the back of a Harley. With a tattoo. Of a scorpion. On the small of your back.

Oooh, baby! ;-)

Will, I never doubted, even for a second, that you would be proud of your "accomplishments" here.

However, I, for one, hope you continue your standard level of obnoxious, sexually-tinged posting. It's a great advertisement for the LDS church and its members.

I think you should, instead of repeatedly telling us how obnoxious I am, actually demonstrate it via example. Like the thing I said to Liz that you just quoted above. That was great. I think you should assemble all the outrageously-vulgar things I have said into a single post, so that -- in future -- everyone can just link to that single location when the question of Schryver vulgarity comes up.

Come on! Make it happen. Show the world just how B A D I really am.
