Chances are that Trump would have won the election anyway without colluding with a foreign government to subvert the 2016 Presidential election. It would have spared Trump from the need to actively participate in a coverup.

Trump probably would've lost without the Russian interference. The election was so close that it almost certainly was within the margin of influence for what they were doing. The wikileaks releases in particular seemed to magnify people's impression of Clinton as wrapped up in scandal. I blame the media more than Russia for that, but Russia obviously gets an assist there.
Subgenius's post relies on a total inability to appreciate multiplicity of cause.
