I'd love to read the data you have to support this claim. Because Trump got over 62 million votes, Hillary only got about 65m...only a 2% difference...she must be the most unpopular loser ever. The claims, or rather, the opinions in the OP don't make sense with the facts of reality
Clinton was the second most unpopular non-incumbent candidate ever, so yeah. I don't believe you are sincere in requesting data, but feel free to look up Trump's net approval rating and compare it to other incoming presidents. He's the only example of a person underwater in the history of the measurement and he's underwater by a lot. It's pre-scientific data, but you'd have to go back to Lincoln to find someone as disliked by as much of the American public as Trump is today.

Probably true, but Mattis still seems less nefarious than most of the others that Trump has picked. Remember that he is the one who convinced Trump that torture is worthless and counter productive, as well as being immoral.
