You are probably right Quasi. Sunstone magazine might consider my idea to be an infringement. Even though, growing up, I developed a certain affection for that sculpture in the park in Nauvoo.

RELIEF!! TY, Quasi.

It was a simple sidestep, and there was ice under the snow.
(BTW in Hungarian, we use the same verb for "sidestep" and "to carry on with sy"...)

Which?
Fract mall lat et marg. post dist. tibiae et rupt lig deltoidei l.s. - if You know what is this. I don't.

Fortunately, nothing complicated.

At the 13th day after the operation we went to the regular monthly piano concert. Image

An interesting thing from the pianist: concert for babies and expectant mothers. See and listen!

Yes!! Music for foetus!

Yep, sounds like the biggest problem you have is the torn deltoid ligament. It will heal. I'm glad I no longer live in a place where snow covered ice is a problem.

I'm happy you are able to hobble to piano concerts!

This is the result of a little time I spent playing with pastels. It is not finished. I still have to color the background and write words in. It was a lot of black and I got tired.

Here is the source image I copied it from:

Your obvious natural talent will carry you a long way. Please continue and post what you're working on.

I've been working with my MDB Secret Santa tablet and stylus. Though I did draw the MDB avatars with a drawing program and mouse, getting hand/eye coordination with the tablet took a little bit of time---but not much. I've been drawing this and that, but somehow ended up using people from a street fashion blog as models. First I worked on textile shading and kept the faces flat; for the last few drawings, though, I've been working on shaded, modeled faces.

Drawing has been really relaxing and therapeutic and its been fun to work on gaining different skills. Ultimately, I'm not that invested in ultra realistic drawing; had I been drawing fashion illustration I would have kept the faces flat and worked out an even more stylized approach. But its fun to try new things.

Here's some of the most recent sketches and a link to a complete montage that shows my learning curve (though the image will only load fairly small since it's so wide).

Oh, and today I tried out some digital watercolours. I'll have to work with this method some more because it was really fun:

Blixa,

These are all great. I'm most in love with the first of your set. Are you taking any requests?

Zee.
