Ajax seems to think that black folks can’t be convicted of a crime in California. If that’s true, how did all those black Californians end up in prison?

If the students end up getting special treatment, I’d say it has more to do with their status as athletes than their skin color.

What exactly are the criminal charges in the US for shoplifting in China?

I guess there are none. I don't have much of a criminal mind. I wondered when watching locked up abroad why people were admitting to escaping from foreign prisons. Would they not be sent back by US authorities?

They didn't really commit crimes. They're just in prison because the police and judicial system is racist.

The massively disproportionate number of Blacks in the California prison system is proof that blacks are prone to crime. Evidence that Blacks are systematically discriminated against - for example having much higher drug-related incarceration rates despite using and selling drugs at lower rates than whites - is PC liberal lies made up to excuse the criminality of blacks.

Something like 30% of the entire black population of the State is involved in the criminal justice system in one capacity or another. When you consider the high absolute numbers and disproportionate racial demographics, even in circumstances where you shouldn't expect racial disparities, doesn't this mean that Blacks don't get special treatment, then? Nope. If you consider just how crime prone Blacks are, this is them getting off easy. The reality is it is much worse, but cries of racism prevent the true number of Blacks who need to be caged - like animals if you will - for the benefit of the rest of us.

Doesn’t this just nullify your whole narrative of blacks escaping legal repurcussions from shoplifting by proving that black folks are put in jail for no reason at all?

So maybe they'd have to pick up trash along side of the road for a few hours if they get caught? Probably put on diversion? I'm sure the first question we should be asking ourselves is why are they having to steal right? And you know if stiffer punishments aren't stopping people from stealing, then by definition it doesn't work and we shouldn't be giving out the same punishments, right? At least that was the line of crap they gave us as teachers and pseudo policemen years ago.

No one has to steal. But I don't putting shoplifting of less than $50 among serious crimes. Picking up trash works on a Saturday works for me as just about the right level of punishment for it. When contemplating more sever punishments we run the risk of making it more attractive, a kind of dare, making true respect for the law more problematic a proposition. Teachers and law enforcement have long advocated for a rational response to crime.

From my limited understanding, the US would only send them back if there was an extradition treaty with the country, and that country requested the person to be sent back.

Most of the "locked up abroad" type shows I have seen have been in countries where either the US doesn't have an extradition treaty with that country, and/or that country wouldn't dare rock the diplomatic boat by demanding the US send the person back.

I’m sure one of our resident lawyers though could shine light where we might have wandered into shadows.

Perhaps DJT isn't the racist that the left paints him to be. I agree with the what the President did. Even I don't think 10 years hard labor is a proportional punishment for theft. But I do get very angry with sunglass theft especially in my shop. I get sick of having to lock up the sunglasses such that actual customers can't try them on without a key. I get tired of the fact that on the rare instance one of these knuckleheads gets caught, nothing really happens to them for it and they never really stop. It's viewed by the public as, "no big deal." I guess I'll just raise the prices on everyone else who pays for their stuff legally.

But no, he'll get no thanks or support from the left on this or anything he does because he's the guy who threatened to enforce the border and always will be.

You literally have no idea why you post outside of 'black people suck', do you? Your only internal consistency is that and 'welfare just makes more black people'.

You could just post a link and then type, "n*****s! Amirite?" That's it. Otherwise anytime you attempt nuance you contradict yourself, much like you do when you attempt to mimic your avatars. It's frustrating to talk to you because you just don't care about anything if it has an R attached to it, and everything really just boils down to blacks.

You're a simple person attempting to apply complexity to a simple position. You're simple because you lack the literal brain to understand and evaluate complexities so you're reduced to crude parodies that you neither understand nor can pull off.

Shame.

If I had only read this quote, I would suspect it was the citizens of Alabama shrugging off the molestation charges of Roy Moore, saying "Twernt that big a deal".

Those players were really stupid to pull that behavior in China.

Speculate no longer, friends!

from the article wrote:
UCLA announced that the freshman trio of LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley will be suspended indefinitely after they returned home from China on Tuesday night.

from the article wrote:
“I take full responsibility for the mistake I have made of shoplifting,” Riley said in his statement. “I know this goes beyond me letting my school down — I’ve let the entire country down.”

“To President Trump and the entire United States government, thank you for taking the time to intervene.”

Are all parties satisfied now?

Perhaps if you were a merchant or shop owner you'd see things differently.

Well Trump won't be satisfied because they had the utter audacity to thank the entire United States government, too. Trump won't be satisfied with shared glory.

And you can take that to the bank and cash it.

Did you mean this in the sense that Majax or Bach might mean it, such as shoplifting being an inherent condition of race, or as a statement of the sheer stupidity of shoplifting while they had a chance to visit China as representatives of their University and the United States?

Maybe they were making a political statement in order to align themselves with campaign trail Trump who claimed China was getting over on the U. S.

So they tried to get over on China by ripping off some shades.

I dunno. Works for me.

That literally has nothing to do with what I posted. Also, I grew up in a small business environment. My dad was a gift shop owner; we were literally a family of merchants.

Christ, dude. You just... You don't think. I'm talking to a man who literally can't think well. This is frustrating.

If these three young men had solely praised the tenacity and business acumen of President Trump for getting them released and added, "Trump is the greatest President in the history of the Universe and women from all over this galaxy love him" then Trump would have been an active advocate for getting them reinstated with UCLA.

While going to school I worked for a small merchant. We always pressed charges for people who shoplifted.
