It is my understanding that what Yeshua taught is understood by every human, at least somewhere in their mind. People have a tendency to shuffle it aside however. Sometimes it is shuffled all the way into a hidden closet. That might be why Pittacus is not a household name.

Now I admit that this understanding of mine is a faith thing. I have no objective proof.I could pointout that the golden rule is sort of a family relationship fundamental. I also can imagine that there are human exceptions but they would be unusual.
