There isn't one today!
You have to wait for the Bible Stories to scroll through before an actor playing Jesus becomes visible.
There is no permanent image of Christ on the home page of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

However, "Indexing is vital" is rather more prominent....

such a touching anecdote.... .....yet here you are....how do you ever manage to preserve your oh-so-obvious pure and high motivations in your postings? Such a noble quest your posts are on....if only we could all aspire to such posts as yours.

what is funny, is that the OP quote is "It is one of the few websites that displays actual images of Jesus Christ." As usual, your posts try to manipulate and distort facts and statements to what you would prefer them to be...not what they actually are...or even could be...
Your obsession with "pride of place" and "latest news" and the landing page seem to be, as usual, your moving of the goalposts.
But hey, thanks for playing.

You were the one bringing "the landing page" into it.

How does a Church claiming to worship Christ NOT have a picture of Him on their homepage in a position of prominence?
Why isn't Christ's image part of the "latter day saint" brand of Christianity?
Is it because asking people to come unto indexing is more vital to the Church than people coming unto Christ?

sure did not...research the thread, i was, merely responding to the poster's usual cursory review of thread and facts. The OP is quite clear with its statement being sans "landing page"...not my fault you are confused.

i just checked LDS.ORG
and Christ is there...in a place of pride at that....on the landing page...top...largest image screen on page.

He is there (now) purely by coincidence, in that He is (for once) included in the First Presidency message.
Now, when that message changes to "give us more of your money" or "do more for us for free" then He will not appear on the landing page.
