It's a start I guess. What a fascinating read that was. (Had to look it up).

Now you know how I feel about Mormon "prophets".

Tobin,
Instead of waiting for vindication in the afterlife, I have decided to be the bestest person NOW that I can. To fiercely love my wife and children and to be excellent to my fellow man.

The idea that after this life may be just a dirt nap no longer scares me. As long as my children and wife love me NOW then it will all be fine.

I hope you continue in doing that. People like you concern me because you never know what they may decide to do if this life is it and don't have to worry about the eternal consequences. I'm glad you have some kind of moral center, despite what you believe.

Wow, now you are suggesting that people like me have no moral center? When did a belief in god prevent people from being immoral?

When did such a belief become requisite for being moral?

Tobin, I think you are confused.

I think you will find the majority of murderers, liars, and adulterers in the western world profess belief in Christ. It has little impact it seems.

I'm just playing around with you. As I said, I don't take anything you have to say as a serious criticism of Mormonism at all.

Pointing out the weaknesses and failings of the messenger has nothing to do with the message. If the message is truly from God, we should accept it.

Definitely confused, to put it mildly.

I'm not interested in your reading and comprehension problems SteelHead. That is not what I said.

Wow, your mad skills at copying and pasting out of context statements is amazing. But, as we've already seen you do that many times before to attack others, I'm unsurprised you would do the same thing to me. You really have no shame nor credibility what-so-ever.

I'm the one with comprehension problems? You better reread what you wrote.

I read this as I being different from the other godless as their lacking a moral compass will have them randomly shooting their neighbors because they lack the fear of eternal damnation.

I know what I said. When you want to address that instead of what you misrepresented that I said, please let me know.

Your lack of coherency is equally amazing, as is your apparent memory lapses. Don't you even remember what you say? It's ok for your "prophets" to be fallible but no one else, and in your self-righteous world, I guess that's par for the course.

Ah, this must be your new game. If you can't convert the Mormon, you attack the Mormon. And of course I believe you are fallible. You are nothing but fallible.

Who is we? Are you royalty now? And please enlighten the board with any examples of out of context statements. I'd love to see them.

Now, you are being petty. How old are you?

Why would I want to convert you? And speaking of attacks, just read your own diatribes.

This is your answer to out of context? Who's being the child here?

Seriously, are you just some teenager goofing off? I can't believe an adult would act this way.

Ah, so in your world, a prophet of God must get up on a hill, split the Red Sea and state, "I'm a prophet of God. Now everyone listen up."

Some of us are a little better grounded in reality than you are. We view prophets of God as truth speakers, called of God to do what they do. And many people view MLK Jr as a prophet as do many people view Gandhi in a similar vein. I certainly do.

You didn't answer my question. I didn't ask why you thought they were prophets, I asked where did they claim to be prophets. And I didn't claim anything about prophets, except that they must prophecy the truth, it is you who are making things up as you go.

Based on your comments, I think you are just some teenage kid trolling this forum. There is an ignore feature on this forum, so go troll someone else.
