thank for the versatile search engine of this site, it can't be found
see:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: chapter (and near all valid english words, btw).
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."
or, if one uses a wildcard, the message is shorter:
"You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."

anyway, that last verse of revelation is only 71 chapters distance from now

we are after 1118 chapters... so the end is nigh

but... there are ten more english translation only on "http://unbound.biola.edu/"

2 Thessalonians 3:1-18

Finally, brrthren, pray for us that the Lord’s message may spread rapidly and receive honor, just as it did among you;

and that we may be rescued from deviate and evil people, for not everyone has trust.

But the Lord is worthy of trust. He will make you firm and guard you from the Satan.

Yes, united with the Lord we are confident about you, that you are doing the things we are telling you to do, and that you will continue doing them.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and the perseverance which the Messiah provides.

Now, in the name of the Lord Jesus the Messiah we command you, brethren, to stay away from any brother who is leading a life of idleness, a life not in keeping with the tradition you gained from us.

For you yourselves realize how you must imitate us, that we were not lazy when we were among you.

We did not accept anyone’s food without paying; on the contrary, we labored and toiled, continually, working so as not to be a burden to any of you.

It was not that we hadn’t the right to be supported, but so that we could make ourselves an example to imitate.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: if someone won’t work, he shouldn’t eat!

We hear that some of you are leading a life of idleness — not busy working, just gossips!

We command such people — and united with the Lord Jesus the Messiah we urge them — to settle down, get to work, and earn a living.

And you brethren who are doing what is good, don’t slow down!

Additionally, if anyone does not obey what we are saying in this letter, take note of him and have nothing to do with him, so that he will be ashamed.

However, don’t consider him an enemy ---- quite the contrary, confront him as a brother and try to help him change.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace forever in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.

The greeting is in my own handwriting: From Paul. This is the mark of genuineness in every letter, this is how my handwriting looks.

The grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah be with all of you.

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 As to the rest, pray ye, brethren, concerning us, that the word of the Lord may run and may be glorified, as also with you,

2 and that we may be delivered from the unreasonable and evil men, for the faith [is] not of all;

3 and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard [you] from the evil;

4 and we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that the things that we command you ye both do and will do;

5 and the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God, and to the endurance of the Christ.

6 And we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother disorderly walking, and not after the deliverance that ye received from us,

7 for yourselves have known how it behoveth [you] to imitate us, because we did not act disorderly among you;

8 nor for nought did we eat bread of any one, but in labour and in travail, night and day working, not to be chargeable to any of you;

9 not because we have not authority, but that ourselves a pattern we might give to you, to imitate us;

10 for even when we were with you, this we did command you, that if any one is not willing to work, neither let him eat,

11 for we hear of certain walking among you disorderly, nothing working, but over working,

12 and such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness working, their own bread they may eat;

13 and ye, brethren, may ye not be weary doing well,

14 and if any one do not obey our word through the letter, this one note ye, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed,

15 and as an enemy count [him] not, but admonish ye [him] as a brother;

16 and may the Lord of the peace Himself give to you the peace always in every way; the Lord [is] with you all!

17 The salutation by the hand of me, Paul, which is a sign in every letter; thus I write;

18 the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.

1 Timothy 1:1-20

From: Paul, an apostle of Jesus the Messiah by God our deliverer's command and Jesus the Messiah our hope,

To: Timothy, a true son because of your trust:

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Jesus the Messiah our Lord.

As I counseled you when I was leaving for Macedonia, remain in Ephesus, so that you may tell specific people who are teaching a different doctrine to stop.

Have them stop devoting their attention to myths and never-ending genealogies; these divert people to speculating instead of doing God’s work, which requires trust.

The purpose of this order is to promote love from a clean heart, a good conscience and from sincere trust.

Some, through misaming, have wandered off into fruitless debate.

They want to be teachers of Law, but they don't comprehend what they say, nor the matters about which they make such forceful pronouncements.

We realize that the Law is good, as long as one uses it in the way the Law itself was intended.

We are aware that Law is not for a person who is righteous, but for those who disregard the Law and are rebellious, ungodly, sinful, wicked and worldly, for people who kill their fathers and mothers, murderers,

the sexually immoral (both heterosexual and homosexual), slave traders, liars, perjurers, and anyone who acts contrary to the sound teaching

that accords with the Good Message of the glorious and blessed God.

This Good Message was entrusted to me.

And I thank the one who has given me strength, Jesus the Messiah, our Lord, that he considered me trustworthy enough to add me to His service,

even though I used to be a man who blasphemed, persecuted and was arrogant! But I received mercy because I had acted in unbelief, without realization of what I was doing.

Our Lord’s grace overflowed to me with trust and love that come by way of Jesus the Messiah.

So here is a statement you can trust, one that fully deserves to be accepted: the Messiah came into the world to save sinners, and I’m the number one sinner!

But this is precisely why I received mercy — so that in me, as the number one sinner, Jesus the Messiah might demonstrate how very patient He is, as an example to those who would eventually come to trust in Him and thereby have eternal life.

So to the King — eternal, imperishable and invisible, the only God there is — let there be honor and glory eternally! So be it.

This task, son Timothy, I put to you, in keeping with the prophecies already made about you, so that by these prophecies you may fight the good fight,

armed with trust and a good conscience. By rejecting conscience, some have made shipwreck of their trust;

among them being Hymenaeus and Alexander. I have turned them over to Satan, so that they will learn not to insult God.

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to a command of God our Saviour, and of the Lord Jesus Christ our hope,

2 to Timotheus -- genuine child in faith: Grace, kindness, peace, from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord,

3 according as I did exhort thee to remain in Ephesus -- I going on to Macedonia -- that thou mightest charge certain not to teach any other thing,

4 nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, that cause questions rather than the building up of God that is in faith: --

5 And the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned,

6 from which certain, having swerved, did turn aside to vain discourse,

7 willing to be teachers of law, not understanding either the things they say, nor concerning what they asseverate,

8 and we have known that the law [is] good, if any one may use it lawfully;

9 having known this, that for a righteous man law is not set, but for lawless and insubordinate persons, ungodly and sinners, impious and profane, parricides and matricides, men-slayers,

10 whoremongers, sodomites, men-stealers, liars, perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that to sound doctrine is adverse,

11 according to the good news of the glory of the blessed God, with which I was entrusted.

12 And I give thanks to him who enabled me -- Christ Jesus our Lord -- that he did reckon me stedfast, having put [me] to the ministration,

13 who before was speaking evil, and persecuting, and insulting, but I found kindness, because, being ignorant, I did [it] in unbelief,

14 and exceedingly abound did the grace of our Lord, with faith and love that [is] in Christ Jesus:

15 stedfast [is] the word, and of all acceptation worthy, that Christ Jesus came to the world to save sinners -- first of whom I am;

16 but because of this I found kindness, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long-suffering, for a pattern of those about to believe on him to life age-during:

17 and to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only wise God, [is] honour and glory -- to the ages of the ages! Amen.

18 This charge I commit to thee, child Timotheus, according to the prophesies that went before upon thee, that thou mayest war in them the good warfare,

19 having faith and a good conscience, which certain having thrust away, concerning the faith did make shipwreck,

20 of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I did deliver to the Adversary, that they might be instructed not to speak evil.

Speaking of not speaking evil, did you mention to your readers that this is one of the disputed letters?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorshi ... e_epistles

"Several additional letters bearing Paul's name are disputed among scholars, namely Ephesians, Colossians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus. Scholarly opinion is sharply divided on whether or not Colossians and 2 Thessalonians are genuine letters of Paul. The remaining four contested epistles-- Ephesians, as well as the three known as the Pastoral epistles (1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus)–- have been labeled pseudepigraphical works by most critical scholars."

I believe that early on these books were all considered authentic. Personally, I believe they are part of the biblical canon because GOD ordained them to be and they are authentic. I feel that the reason people today are trying to discredit the "Pauline epistles" is because they are very clear regarding various sins and there is no way around it unless one eliminates them.

One may wish to consider the following: http://dictionary.sensagent.com/Authors ... les/en-en/

1 Timothy 2:1-15

Firstly, I counsel that petitions, prayers, pleadings and thanksgivings be made for everybody,

including rulers and all in positions of power; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything.

This is what God, our Deliverer, sees as good --- this is what He approves of.

He wants everyone to be delivered and come to full knowledge of the truth.

For God is one; and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Jesus the Messiah, Himself revealed in human form,

who gave Himself as a ransom on behalf of everyone, thus providing testimony to God’s purpose at just the perfect time.

This is why I myself was appointed a proclaimer, even an apostle— I am telling the truth, not lying! — a trustworthy and honest teacher of the Gentiles.

Therefore, it is my desire that when the men pray, no matter the location, they should lift up hands that are holy — they should not become angry or argumentative.

Likewise, the women, when they pray, should be dressed modestly and sensibly in respectable attire, not with elaborate hairstyles and gold jewelry, or pearls, or expensive clothes.

Rather, they should adorn themselves with what is appropriate for women who claim to be worshiping God, namely, good deeds.

Let a woman learn peacefully, fully submitted;

but I do not permit a woman to teach a man or exercise manipulation over him; rather, she is to remain at peace.

For Adam was formed first, then Havah/Eve.

Also it was not Adam who was coerced, but the woman who, on being deceived, became involved in the transgression.

Regardless, the woman will be delivered through the birth process, provided that she continues trusting, loving and living a holy life with modesty.

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 I exhort, then, first of all, there be made supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, for all men:

2 for kings, and all who are in authority, that a quiet and peaceable life we may lead in all piety and gravity,

3 for this [is] right and acceptable before God our Saviour,

4 who doth will all men to be saved, and to come to the full knowledge of the truth;

5 for one [is] God, one also [is] mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,

6 who did give himself a ransom for all -- the testimony in its own times --

7 in regard to which I was set a preacher and apostle -- truth I say in Christ, I do not lie -- a teacher of nations, in faith and truth.

8 I wish, therefore, that men pray in every place, lifting up kind hands, apart from anger and reasoning;

9 in like manner also the women, in becoming apparel, with modesty and sobriety to adorn themselves, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or garments of great price,

10 but -- which becometh women professing godly piety -- through good works.

11 Let a woman in quietness learn in all subjection,

12 and a woman I do not suffer to teach, nor to rule a husband, but to be in quietness,

13 for Adam was first formed, then Eve,

14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came,

15 and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety.
