Dear Mormon Church,

You ____ with my life. Good riddance.

Thanks! I think so too. It's quiet enough to not bother many people but still feels like I'm getting something off my hairy chest.

This anger is healthy. Being somebody's doormat or toilet paper might satisfy you, though. Enjoy.

Yeah. I was thinking about this last night. My conclusion was I really hope the Mormon god is simply myth and made up, because if he is the ONE god, he is a dick and not worth my worship. I detest the Mormon god. I detest the God of Lost Keys that my Mormon family worships.

zeezrom,

I'm sorry, the Mormon god is like a sticky b****r one cannot simply fling from one's finger tips.

It's the god that keeps on giving!

Thank God I was able to get my kids out in time to save their youth! And thank God I still have time to enjoy what little youth I have left. :)

I liken the Mormon church to a family you had growing up, a school you were enrolled in, or perhaps even a disastrous MLM scheme you were sold. Someone that either had no choice or chose unwisely has every right to feel frustrated, angry, wronged, or whatever legitimate feelings about the circumstances of their life. They also have the right to warn others about it, affording others an opportunity to make a choice to participate in or continue in that situation with eyes wide open.

Yeah. A-ruffled you're right. We have anger issues. We have legitimate anger issues and we have a right to work through them. And you know what? People have a right to call us out on it, and then we can get the discussion started.

If someone wants to continue in the Mormon church after hashing things out, then more power to them. On the flipside if someone is in the Mormon church, and they can't understand why they're miserable, then we owe it to them to have that discussion. Real choice can reall only happen when all the cards are laid out on the table. This Orwellian game the Mormon church plays with its members and doubting types is straight up meant to control. And we owe to those who don't want to be controlled a choice. That choices only happens when someone like Zee posts.

I'd like to add my two cents as well. During my dating and marriage relationships, I couldn't get you out of my head Mormon church. I had it ingrained in me that you should be at my side and a part of every facet of my life, including relationships. Two divorces and several failed relationships, due in part to my inner conflicts with you, church, I am finally divorcing myself from you. Hopefully my current relationship with an atheist will work better. I'd like a refund and emotional distress damages but you and your christian buddies won't let a lawsuit like that go forward.

P.S. nice touch in changing the tithing slips a while back to shore up your legal position.
