Like a time travel paradox. The Mormon cake has a rabbit turd in the middle. Eat the sides and they taste good, but the closer you get to the center the closer you are to having to choose to eat the turd or walk away. Where the turd came from is of little consequence, as the rabbit hole leads where the rabbit hole goes... or something, um... you know... profound.
