I've posted before that for me Mormonism was an either/or proposition. Either true or not. When I learned enough facts that made it no longer rational to believe it, I determined it to not be true and rejected the whole enchilada.
The concept of a NOM was foreign to me at that time. Since I was already out of the Mormon culture by the time that concept was introduced to me, there was no cultural motivation for me to go from apatheist to NOM.
Now I am beginning to think that the only Mormons that are not disingenuous if not outright insincere are the NOMs. The only way to make any sense out of Mormonism is if you reject the cornball claims.
