The first Ignoramus in my life was my father. I am HIGHLY allergic to nicotine. My father was a chain smoker.

With you around, its a wonder he wasn't also an alcoholic.

Cocaine addiction is a bummer, but recovery is worth the effort.

only to be awoken about an hour later for school. I was always tired in school, very tired, and my nose ran constantly.

Oh, now I see...you you had a problem with both stimulants and depressants.

Quote:
I used to wear long sleeve shirts in order to wipe my nose on them because they constantly ran.

The sleeve must have held itself up after some period of time...

Quote:
After ditching high school quite a bit I was taken to see a counselor who asked me why I wasn't going to school. I told him the TRUTH...about my father's nightly screaming sessions and that I could not get to sleep because of my sinus headaches. He said, "Darrick, lying is NOT going to benefit you here!" I was IN SHOCK! He was another Ignoramus.

I wonder...

Quote:
Most Mormons are certainly Ignoramuses! About 90% at least.

Can you imagine a CFR for this one?

Quote:
Same is true for the so-called "Christians". Mormon bishops are some of the worst Ignoramuses I've ever met.

And some of them probably work for the Hershey corporation.

Quote:
Born-again Christians (so-called) are another group of simpletons and Ignoramuses. I've confronted hundreds of them over the decades. Some of the most ignorant people on earth.

As bad as Democrats?

Quote:
The world is divided into two groups:

Rational men: hold judgment on any belief until one has seen both sides, and judges truth on the merit of evidence instead of subjective reasons.

Which counts you out, so lets move on to...

Quote:
Ignoramuses: judges things by outward appearances, decides that "Truth" is what one wants to believe and "lies" is whatever one disagrees with. MOST Mormons are certainly in this group. Most religious people are. Most "atheists" are too.

You forgot black obese transgendered midgets with AIDS. Awful, awful people...

Quote:
Educated people can still be Ignoramuses. A man educated as a doctor may think he knows "everything" about everything. Educated Ignoramuses are some of the worst Ignoramuses.

Stick around here for a while and this will become starkly apparent.

Quote:
To the Ignoramuses in Mormon Discussions: 100% of what I have written on all of my posts in Mormon Discussions is 100% TRUTH. If you say otherwise, it is only because YOU are an Ignoramus.

How do you type these posts in a straight jacket? That could be a real money maker in Vegas.

Maybe ridicule is not the best response to Derrick. He does seem to have some serious emotional problems. Ignoring him in hopes that he looks for help elsewhere, or encouraging him to seek that help might be best.

It's easy to pick on the helpless.

Derrick isn't helpless, in my estimation, but rather hapless

Sing me a song, Droopy! You ____! Then take Facsimilie No. 3 and wrap it around your favorite body part. Don't worry, Shulem don't bite.

How long did it used to take you, Droopy?
