Liberals, primarily the social justice warrior's of the Left try to tell us it's "racist" to celebrate other cultures, by dressing like them on occasion, by eating their food, etc.
The truth is, it's actually racist to segregate and to tell people culture is in fact the same thing as race, and that people can't be like other cultures, or to like other cultures as being part of them, not simply as an outsider visiting.

I am not really prepared to take this seriously.

A complicated topic worth a conceptually and historically nuanced critique. OP and it's vid are neither.

(Critique is not the same as "criticism," "attack," "denounce," "call to repentance," "debunk," or anything else OP claims for his posts).

Actually, the video goes into far more depth and accuracy of the facts and truth than any social justice warrior video etc. which does nothing more than state falsehoods, which the video I posted entirely debunk with the actual facts and truth.

Further, your statement is not an argument against the video.
In fact, I don't think I've even once seen any argument by you on this forum with a single issue.
All I've seen is you engaging in character assassination, a "wave of the hand" like you just did here.

I was able to get this through on Paradise, so it would be nice to have an actual discussion of my actual post and the video in question.

I am sorry but I just do not see this happening.

I am aware of complaints about using denigrating stereotypes of other cultures.I am aware of complaints about using sacred things for a culture in a way which disregards their sacred nature. I am aware of complaints about using music without financial recognition. The obvious example of that is the general failure to pay black musicians properly for many decades. It think it is clear that the sharing of music ideas has been a two way street in American popular music. The problem is that untill roughly speaking the 1960s and after the money share was not.

It just is not possible that every musician is going to agree about the sharing. There has been complaints about white Englishman like the stones playing the blues. On the other hand some blues muscians started making more money due to the awareness and interest created by white imitation. I think BB King had a good attitued about all that.
