Tal? Could you pass something on?

Post by _Mercury »

I got the Killers new album off of iTunes a few weeks ago and i am still enjoying this stuff.

Now, keep in mind I can feel close to Brandon Flowers because I grew up Mormon in Vegas, as did he. The Hints to the s***hole I escaped from but curiously can't stop loving, Vegas, are smeared all over every track. I love it.

But just now I was overcome with emotion while listening to "this river is wild". I can relate to almost every line of that song.

Now, I don't know how the Music Industry works, but if you ever have the opportunity to talk to Brandon Flowers, please thank him for that track. I havent related this strong to a song in a while.
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

My sister in law is friends with his mom. I'll pass the word along.
