Picked up a copy in DI in Mesa - first printed in 1968 with third printing in 1972 by Desert Book. Thumbing through it, seems pretty benign as it discusses from a TBM Point of view activities in Missouri in Joseph Smith day - the guy was MP there during part off the DOM era.
Anyone know if this book is supposed to have insights into the Saints History there or is important for other reasons? Three printings is somewhat impressive that's why I am asking and also to avoid needless reading if it is a "loser",
