Somehow I don't think these guys know what their church actually believes about racism. Dark skin is a curse - a sign you are loathesome and lazy. It is right there in the scriptures.

It fascinates me that people think they "know" what the church believes when they are stating things completely false in relation to the Church.

1. Dark Skin was a "sign" of the curse, not "the curse". The curse was to not have the Gospel.

2. In Scriptural CONTEXT the dark skin being referred to in most cases was in reference to "Spirituality", a.k.a. ones "countenance". It had nothing to do with actual "skin color". And there are various reasons from the scripture why we know this, but Anti's ignore facts that debunk their judgments.

3. Every Marriage is "sealed" in the Temple, no matter who they are, there is no judgment on their morality. It's simply been commanded that ALL Saving and Exalting Ordinances are done for ALL who have lived. Period.

Sorry, your misrepresentative "interpretation" of the scripture and our Gospel is NOT "what's right there in the scriptures" and otherwise. It's a little truth used to bear false witness.
