Utah elects the perceived church candidate every time in state-wide races. Former mission president Wayne Owens could never do it. That dastardly "D" (for devil) after his name on the ballot always sunk him when he ventured outside of SLC.

If the choice is between Mitt Romney or the stupid Republicans like Jason Chaffetz who have been representing Utah I'll take Romney all day and twice on the sabbath.
