Your response does not lend itself to a productive/civil conversation and/or discussion. It does lead us down a road that ultimately leads to a cul-de-sac/dead end where we find ourselves going round and round wasting each other's time. Rather than leading us in an unproductive/uncivil direction, you might want to add substantively to the discussion?

I appreciate Shades reinforcing the usage of the 'report' button. He's (or other moderators) going to be getting more reports from me...due to you...than he would like get, would be my guess.

Keep it rolling if you must. It may do something for you? Others can see it for what it is this point. Theft. Stealing my original content/words and using them as if they were/are your own and then attaching a silly copyright notice. Each time you do so...starting from yesterday...I will report it. For whatever good it does.

I have a feeling that not much will actually happen as a result. Shades' return post to me, not withstanding.

Can't hurt to try though!

MG

But what you posted yesterday about "others here" doesn't really fall into that category, does it?

viewtopic.php?p=1077662#p1077662

I'm still trying to figure out how you can conclude whether a poster here "purveys pornography" or "purveys sodomy," based on their writings. You call everyone a liar, however, so that one is obvious. Does the "etc." encompass other sin purveyances you assume about people here?

Like Jersey said, how does a phrase like that even begin take up residence in a person's head?

The words DocCam is using in the above statement are my words from an original posting I made in response to him. They are not his words.

He may have taken offense at the time and is now recycling my words back at me in response to specific posts that he would just as well not respond to in his own words.

That would take too much original thought/work.

You mean like when you spammed the board with the same phrase as a substitute for discussion? Like that?

The words I am using in the above statement do not represent Lemmie's words, I have unlawfully changed her words and I am violating copyright law by misrepresenting her. My misquoting of her is illegal and unethical.

I may/did/will/can't help but take offense at the/this/any/all/every time and I am now misquoting her in response to specific posts because I am a purveyor of sin. Etc.

To be less obnoxious/antagonistic/whiny would take too much original thought-slash-work. I can't decide which so I'll do neither. [inappropriate use of winkie face here.]

I have reported my own post just like I report all the posts, written by SOME of the sin-purveyors here, that show I am a humorless liar.

Regerts,

MentalGymnasTee Boy.

It would have been better if I would have given some degree of credence/recognition to your words and quoted them first...and then did the blah, blah, blah thing to represent the fact that I think most of what you have to contribute is meaningless tripe.

In the future I will show you the respect due to you (for the time you've spent writing the post) by quoting your words...including my words often taken out of context...before I represent it all as being what I see it as.

MG

You've been here how long and didn't know to do this? And you are the KING of taking people's words out of their rightful context. You do this all the time. But all this will be lost on you, because you are only here to TROLL and hawk apologist ____ as you whine, whine, whine about EVERYTHING.

And most of the time it isn't even necessary to quote someone, you can just address them and answer. People can simply read the quote you are referring to above. But it doesn't work if you are intentionally changing their words to suit yourself which you also are guilty of doing.

All this is simply common sense. Try using it sometimes.

Nope.

I already have in the "blast from the past" link.

Thing is, Doc, you've lost whatever trust I may have had in you. A relationship/conversation is built on trust, IMO. I don't think we have any where we can go except into a cul-de-sac where we will simply go round and round.

There have become fewer and fewer people here that I believe I can trust, from some of the experiences I've endured and/or had to put up with in the last few months. There are some folks, however, that I am willing to engage because we generally remain civil to each other. And that's what makes things enjoyable, and even fun.

Civility/trust is at the foundation of any good dialogue. If it's not there, I don't believe a productive conversation can take place. I suppose that's why I'm hammering you so hard, I was hoping you would just own up to your antics and move on. You didn't. You won't. You'll simply play dumb and/or deflect.

We can't have a discussion under those circumstances.

Have a nice day,
MG
