We should all learn from this ethics lesson. It's so unfortunate that the Church (i.e. Dallan Oak's) has no understanding of the power and need of Apologies.

Fast forward to 9:58 if you don't have the 12 minutes to listen to the whole of this episode.

Dallin H. hOax doesn't need any lessons.

He is rich and works for a tax exempt corporation.

I appreciate this post very much. To err is indeed human, to forgive must surely be divine. Confessing anpologizing can be the link between the human and the divine.

Here's one where DO worked on behalf of the corporation-the utah supreme court ruled that whenever a member talks to the bishop the conversation is like the RC priest -pentinent confessioal conversation and cannot be forced to be divulged- do you know how huge that ruling is? especially in sex abuse cases?

some people doesn't know their own language, or at least doesn't know the first of the definitions below:
Quote:
Apology, apologise or apologist may refer to:
An expression of remorse
Apologetics, the systematic theological defense of a religious position
Christian apologetics, the defense of Christianity
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apology)
Quote:
Remorse is an emotional expression of personal regret felt by a person after they have committed an act which they deem to be shameful, hurtful, or violent. Remorse is closely allied to guilt and self-directed resentment. When a person regrets an earlier action or failure to act, it may be because of remorse or in response to various other consequences, including being punished for the act or omission.

you may forgive me to highlight this - i am not a native english speaker, and not religious as well
