Saw what I thought to be an interesting LDS show on TV called Ultimate Restorations, but it was dealing with railroad cars. That was disappointing.
I was looking for a 209th Birthday tribute to LDS Church founder Joseph Smith.
You can restore railroad cars and have something that looks nice and is functional to boot. However, an Ultimate Restoration of a Final Dispensation in the Fullness of Time would have made for an excellent show and would be preferable to a rerun of CSI.
Potential Opening Scene:
Young Helen Mar is seen holding a dandelion and that song from The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is playing in the background:
Helen, Helen, roses are red
All the leaves have gone green
And the clouds are so low
You can touch them, and so
Come out to the meadow, Helen
Helen, you're young and alive!!
Come out of your half-dreamed dream
And run, if you will to the top of the hill
Come into my arms, bonnie Helen
The scene would end with Joseph Meeting Helen at the top of the hill and it would fade to the title, with James Earl Jones announcing:
This is the Ultimate Restoration of a Final Dispensation in the Fullness of Time. After that we would hear the crescendo from Thus Spake Zarathustra.

That cake says "23rd," not "209th."
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Slip of the baker's wrist. The cake is what's important and it is chocolate!

Re: The Ultimate Restoration: A Tribute
Can anyone confirm that the MD&D board has an equivalent tribute to Joseph during the Twelve Days of Smithmas?
