So , divide the revenues/tithing by the number of members-hmm 186,000 total men ,women and children so we assume 86000 tithe payers(the men) and we get 34,000,000/86,000= 395 pounds per tithe payer or about 600 dollars per tithe payer. conclusion" not a hellavu lot of tithing hitting the coffers from united kingdom."

The proportion of temple recommend holding adults to overall membership runs at about 10% in Europe.
We can assume then that of the 186,000 members in Great Britain, 18,600 are tithe payers.
Which would equate to each of them paying £1,600 a year in tithing.

Even this seems low per person so I would surmise that the number of tithe paying members in Great Britain is somewhere south of 18,600.

Hmm, 600 dollars per member? that's a lot of chavs.
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race

What on earth is "temple income?"

What on earth is "temple income?"

I am assuming it is the proceeds of temple clothing rental and temple cafeteria food sales.

The average weekly salary in the UK for 2013 was £517 per week. That's £26,884 per annum.
At that rate, tithing income for 2013 (£30,199) would equate to a full tithe being paid on gross salary by an average of 11,235 members, which is roughly thirty members per congregation.

Actually, I've just noticed it's worse than that.
Here are the regions where the 'charity' states it operates, and therefore from where the figures for donations are drawn from:
THROUGHOUT ENGLAND AND WALES
FRANCE
NORTHERN IRELAND
SCOTLAND

http://apps.charitycommission.gov.uk/Sh ... ryNumber=0

That's right, it includes France!
Which means adding another 37,000 members to the total of 186,000 to get a membership total of 223,000 contributing £34.8 million.
