During Jesus time to and right after his death he had twelve(reduced to 11) in the old world and within a short time twelve more in the new world.

Twenty three/four at the time and maybe a few more if First Presidencies were there as they are today.(should be since it is the same yesterday, today and forever)

So, Twelve is not enough? Jesus made twenty four. Why is twelve enough now? The old guys in Salt Lake City don't travel and bless the world much so having an extra twelve to spread things out would make sense.

Why not "The Chosen Twenty Four" rather than "The Chosen Twelve"?

How many Jews outside the geographic area of that breakaway temple visited it? Paid the temple tax to it? Planned on making pilgrimage to it? How many in Egypt (where said temple was) went to it vs. those who left Egypt to go to the Jerusalem temple?

Who needs that when you have the Holy Spirit?
