Welcome back, Doctor Peterson. I'm glad to see you here. It gives me the opportunity to encourage you to take up young LoaP's suggestions about a blog posting that "prove" how my critique of you is off-base. I'd love to see you attempt such a thing. Of course, you and I both know that you'll never ever do this, mainly because you can't.

You don't say...

I didn't realize that Rodney Meldrum was into wrapping himself in the flag along with Cleon Skousen. Well, forget him. At least FARMS and FAIR steer clear of nutjob politics, no matter where or how many Hill Cumorahs they have.

I received a brief PM from Dr. Peterson in which [contents of private message(s) deleted]. He also included the PM that [contents of private message(s) deleted]. Yes, Dr. Peterson knows who I am, as does Blair Hodges (LOaP) and a number of other people.

I appreciate Dr. Peterson's decision to remove this information from the thread. I only wish that others had been more circumspect. Then, there probably would be no need for a "ministry to the Mopologists."

I have to say that I share Dr. Peterson's [contents of private message(s) deleted]. I am disappointed that [tangental contents of private message(s) deleted], but the loads of crap that idiots like Nomad, Pahoran, and Will Schryver post on a routine basis evidently are considered all in good fun.

Gee, no wonder Reverend Kishkumen thinks nothing of critiquing certain apologists and apologetic tactics. It seems someone ought to do it. As soon as more qualified parties step up to the plate and respond to Elder Ballard's admonitions, maybe the Right Reverend will go into permanent retirement. The Reverend wishes no one ill, but he doesn't feel much compunction about criticizing apologetics that, on account of their deficiencies, demand criticism.

That is not exactly the same thing as criticizing the LDS Church.

Oh boy. A man begins to feel lonely and frustrated in retirement, makes a decision to get back into his trade, and it isn't enough to have age, fatigue, memory loss, alcoholism, some mild neurosis against him, but the naysayers must immediately appear from the woodwork to [tangential contents of private message(s) deleted]. To [contents of private message(s) deleted]. I believe a man can overcome the odds and stake himself something he can be proud of in the real world.

Please Kishkumen, resist the temptation to dream of a fantasy life far away in Salem, where the apologists, Melchizedek, and George Washington all live happily together with the bunny rabbits and fairies, living by the pillars of Mopologetics.

But the trend of what I saw scares me. I live in Arizona where it is almost as bad. There is no public political conversation anymore. Why?

I was in Phoenix last month on business, and the atmosphere was ... creepy. Not like it was the other times I've been there. I wasn't sorry to leave.

He keeps trying to get to me to go "Constitution classes". I'm like... son... I know what the Constitution says. I don't need anyone to tell me how to interpret it. He volunteered at the Tea Party booth at the county fair last week. I'm like... Stop the madness!...

Good grief!

if someone sends an unwelcome, harassing PM, the recipient should feel free to expose the harasser.
